With multiple roof types on the market we needed to ensure our lifeline system was fully capable of performing on each one.
The standard RoofSafe post can be fitted to Bitumen, PVC and Built up roof profiles. From toggle fixings to rivets to clamps, the components are fully tested for fall arrest performance and in maintaining the roof integrity.

Advanced Shock Absorption | SpiraTech Force Management Technology
In the event of a fall, the RoofSafe anchor breaks open, deploying the unique and patented SpiraTech Force Management Technology absorbing system, which reduces the forces generated on the roof structure to less than 5 kN, the lowest of any of its kind on the market. This enables the anchor to be installed on a wide variety of old and new roof types with less risk to structural integrity.
The RoofSafe System Features And Benefits
The RoofSafe anchor is multi-directional and can activate and absorb energy no matter in which orientation the load is applied, which provides total freedom and flexibility in system design.
The innovative energy absorbing system inside the RoofSafe anchor reduces the overturning moment on the fixings by half enabling the use of fewer fasteners in many circumstances. This reduces the number of roof penetrations and helps save time and money during installations.
The RoofSafe anchor looks smart and compliments modern building design, as well as fitting neatly with older buildings, enabling compliance and peace of mind no matter what type of project.
The anchorage eye on the single point anchor product rotates to provide maximum functionality and safety in use.
The RoofSafe anchor utilises marine grade alloys in its design which ensures the system will not corrode in environments that are more aggressive to metals (such as in coastal regions). It has the additional benefit of being safer to move around the roof during installation, helping to maintain a zero-harm site.
The RoofSafe system uses high quality 316 stainless steel cable system offering excellent freedom of movement for the travelling anchor which helps users to safely navigate corners and building contours.
The RoofSafe anchor is modular in design, taking less space to pack and ship, again helping to reduce additional costs of installing a roof safety system.
In the unlikely event that the anchor is deployed, the top module and be removed and replace with a new one. Whilst deployed the baseplate will remain in good condition, preventing any damage to the roof and thereby nullifying the roof warranty.
The RoofSafe anchor has been designed so that a vertical pull test to 5 kN can be applied without affecting the anchors integrity. This enables annual test and verification of its structural integrity, ensuring compliance and peace of mind.
The base plate designs incorporate multiple fixing options to help reduce the complexity of specification and in turn helps maximise inventory to ensure speedy installation.
The RoofSafe anchor for flat roofing systems has been designed to be easy to weather proof ensuring the integrity of the building envelope.
The system spans up to 15 m (49.2 ft) between intermediate supports, minimising roof penetrations.
Electro polished components provide long-term corrosion resistance.*
* some aggressive environments can cause corrosion
and discoloration of stainless steel.
Protect Your Roof. Protect The Warranty.
Our RoofSafe safety wire system leaves your roof perfectly sealed and the roof warranty all in tact because our shock absorber system doesn't transfer for the loads back to the roof structure like other systems.
The high performing RoofSafe system is always ready to sprint into action when you need it most! This has been developed with an advanced shock absorption function to ensure your roof is not damaged in the event of a fall.
The STQ Vantage RoofSafe posts are designed to deliver the lowest possible force back to the roof structure in the event of deployment meaning roof repairs will not be required.
The RoofSafe system is the best on the market for delivering the least impact or damage to the roof structure at 6kN! To give a comparison with other systems, some are stated to reduce the impact exerted back to the roof to approx 10kN (1019kg force). The RoofSafe system reduces the impact by approximately another 400kg force.
